Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Tangier, a city with a rich history and a unique mix of cultures at the crossroads of Europe and Africa. We start with a tour of Tangier’s vibrant medina, where you'll explore narrow streets, bustling souks, and the Kasbah, offering stunning views of the Strait of Gibraltar. After lunch, we head to Chefchaouen, the "Blue Pearl." As you drive through the Rif Mountains, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views. In Chefchaouen, known for its striking blue-painted buildings, you’ll have the evening to explore the charming streets and relax at a local riad.
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Chefchaouen at your leisure. You can visit the Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the Kasbah Museum, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the town. Later, we’ll head to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the ruins, marvel at the mosaics, and imagine life in the city during Roman times. Afterward, we drive to Meknes, one of Morocco's imperial cities. Visit the grand Bab Mansour gate, the Royal Stables, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Spend the night in a traditional riad.
Today, we make our way to Fes, a city known for its deep history and vibrant culture. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the Fes el-Bali, the old medina, a maze of narrow streets filled with souks, madrasas, and beautiful mosques. Notable sites include the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the world’s oldest continuously operating university. In the afternoon, visit the Mellah (Jewish Quarter) and enjoy panoramic views from the Merenid Tombs. Overnight in a traditional riad.
After breakfast, we embark on a scenic day trip to the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its Alpine-style architecture. Enjoy a walk through the parks and admire the town's unique charm. Then, we continue to Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and Barbary macaques. You’ll have the chance to hike through the forest and observe these playful monkeys. In the late afternoon, we return to Fes, where you can enjoy the evening at leisure.
On the final day, we depart from Fes and head back to Tangier. Depending on your departure time, there may be an opportunity for a last-minute visit to any sights you missed or for some final shopping. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation or the port/airport in Tangier.
