Itinerary

Day 1: Agadir → Marrakech Your adventure begins in Agadir as we drive inland to the vibrant "Red City" of Marrakech. After checking into your riad, you'll have the afternoon to dive into the energy of the Djemaa el-Fna square.

Day 2: Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Dades Valley We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. We'll explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou before continuing through the Valley of Roses to the beautiful Dades Valley for the night.

Day 3: Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert We visit the magnificent Todra Gorges before continuing east to the Sahara. In Merzouga, you will trade your car for a camel and trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to a traditional Berber camp for a night under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt After a desert sunrise, we begin our journey north. We'll travel through the stunning Ziz Valley, with its vast palm groves, and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt, a town known for its apples and fossils, where we'll spend the night.

Day 5: Midelt → Azrou Cedar Forest → Fes We continue our journey towards Fes, stopping in the cedar forests of Azrou to see the native Barbary macaque monkeys. We will also pass through Ifrane, "Morocco's Little Switzerland," before arriving in Fes in the afternoon for a two-night stay.

Day 6: Full Day Exploring Fes A full day dedicated to exploring Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities. With a local guide, you will navigate the labyrinthine medina, visiting the famous tanneries, historic madrasas, and the world's oldest university.

Day 7: Departure from Fes After a final breakfast in Fes, your grand traverse of Morocco concludes. Depending on your travel plans, your driver will transfer you to Fes-Saïss Airport (FEZ) or another location in the city.
