Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech Upon your arrival at Marrakech-Menara Airport (RAK), your driver will greet you and transfer you to your riad in the medina. You'll have the rest of the day to settle in and get your first impressions of the vibrant "Red City." We recommend an evening visit to the Djemaa el-Fna square as it comes alive with performers and food stalls.

Day 2: Marrakech → Imlil (High Atlas Mountains) After breakfast, we leave the city behind and drive into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Our destination is the beautiful Imlil Valley, a lush, terraced valley and the main starting point for treks to Mount Toubkal. After checking into a traditional Berber guesthouse, you'll enjoy a home-cooked lunch and then a guided walk through the surrounding villages.

Day 3: Full Day Trekking in the Atlas Mountains Today is for exploring the stunning mountain landscapes on foot. Accompanied by a local mountain guide, you will embark on a day trek (approximately 5-6 hours, adaptable to your fitness level) through walnut groves, terraced fields, and traditional Berber villages. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch with a panoramic view of the mountains and learn about the local Amazigh culture and way of life.

Day 4: Imlil → Scenic Drive → Essaouira After a final mountain breakfast, we begin our journey towards the coast. The scenic drive takes us out of the mountains and across the fertile plains towards the Atlantic. We arrive in the afternoon in Essaouira, the charming blue-and-white port town. After checking into your riad, you can take a stroll along the historic ramparts as the sun begins to set.

Day 5: Exploring Essaouira Enjoy a full day at your leisure in the laid-back city of Essaouira. Wander through its UNESCO-listed medina, browsing the art galleries and thuya wood workshops. Watch the fishing boats return to the bustling port, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a portside grill. You can also take a long walk on the vast, windswept beach or even try kitesurfing.

Day 6: Essaouira → Marrakech Savor a final leisurely morning in Essaouira. Perhaps do some last-minute souvenir shopping or enjoy a coffee in a medina café. In the afternoon, we will make the return journey to Marrakech. Upon arrival, you'll check back into your riad and have a final evening to enjoy the city, perhaps with a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakech After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to Marrakech-Menara Airport (RAK) for your departure, filled with memories of Morocco's mountains and coast.
